Lots of people ride bikes for lots of different reasons. It’s good for you body, your state of mind, for your community, for convenience (in some countries) and for saving some bucks as car are a bit expensive. It’s also good for older people as they need fitness to keep up their health but they sure don’t want to ride so fast. 😛
A great problem that bicyclers encounter is the lack of bicyle stands or parking. They have to lock their bicycles with poles on street or by the beach. But their are some innovative ideas which need to be implemented everywhere in order to give cyclist a relief. Many designers and architectures are putting in their efforts to come up with designs which will take less space and will hold make bicycles at a time.
We think that everyone should travel on foot or via bicycles on nearby distances to stay healthy and fit because health is what keeps us going. Using car is effective, yes, but it also produces a lot of carbon polluting the air and also it’s very expensive and not everyone can afford it. Campaigns should be ran in order to make bicycling more common. The fun fact is that in 2009, 4 billion Americans made trips by bicycle and 15% of the population of America rode a bike for recreation in 2010, making it the second-most-popular outdoor activity in the U.S.
